My husband and I are travelling interstate for a funeral and would greatly appreciate prayer for safe travel and also prayer for strength in dealing with the funeral and the grief. And of course that we can be a support for the family of the deceased.

Lord, I pray that Jodi and her husband can travel safely to the funeral, and for them to be able to offer wisdom and comfort to the grieving. I pray that they can keep their eyes on you Lord, and be reminded that death is defeated. I pray also for Jodi’s health as she travels. I pray that she is able to get adequate rest and that she doesn’t push herself too hard, or expect too much of herself.

Praying for you Jodi at this difficult time. I pray that you will receive strength from Him and feel His arms around you. I pray for traveling mercies. May angels be around you and protect you. I pray also that you may be a blessing to those at the funeral….

Praying for you to have a wonderful time of bonding together as you travel and as you are able to minister to each other and those at the funeral too. For protection on your health, safety on the roads and for comfort for your children as they are away from you at this time. For a very real presence of the Holy Spirit as you travel and arrive home soon.
