“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  Jeremiah 29:11-13

It’s hard to choose a favourite Bible Verse from all the wonderful pearls of wisdom that can be found in there.  But if I had to choose one, this would be it.  It was shared with me many years ago by a wonderful Christian couple who encouraged me greatly.

What a rich and beautiful promise.  When we follow God’s plan for our lives it is GOOD.  His ultimate desire is for RELATIONSHIP with us.  He wants to be found by us.  He wants to listen to us.  Doesn’t it just blow your mind that the GOD who created the whole universe wants to listen to YOU?  It sure blows my mind.

At times I am very slow to trust Him.  And yet, time and time again, he proves his faithfulness and love to me.  You know, my favourite place in the whole world is curled up in His loving arms.
